Strictly No Elephants is a fantastic tale involving a little boy and his tiny pet elephant who are shunned by the local pet club crowd. After reading a sign that explicitly prohibits elephants, the boy sets out to make a club of his own that is all encompassing.

The illustrations are saturated with color and while they have a lot of detail they also have a childish quality to them.

Children will love this book because of the illustrations and because the story reaffirms their beliefs in the power of friendship. Adults will love this book because of the inclusive messaging.
